Aplikasi
Selama operasi boiler dalam aplikasi komersial dan industri yang khas, sekitar 10-20% dari nilai kalor bahan bakar dikeluarkan bersama gas cerobong ke atmosfer.Stack economizers dirancang untuk memulihkan jumlah yang signifikan dari kehilangan energi gas tumpukan ini, sehingga sangat meningkatkan efisiensi sistem boiler.Ada beberapa pertimbangan saat memilih economizer:
• Penurunan Tekanan Sisi Gas.Penambahan tekanan balik pada cerobong ketel memengaruhi kemampuan keluaran kipas udara pembakaran.Penghemat dan kipas udara pembakaran harus berukuran tepat untuk memastikan operasi dan kapasitas sistem yang sesuai.
• Suhu Air Umpan.Air umpan ke economizer harus dideaerasi dan setpoint suhu minimal 220oF untuk mencegah korosi tabung.
• Penurunan Tekanan Sisi Air.Ukuran pompa air umpan harus disesuaikan untuk mengakomodasi penurunan tekanan economizer.Selain itu, sistem air umpan modulasi kontinu diperlukan untuk memastikan laju aliran yang tepat melalui economizer.

Kumparan Economizer digunakan di hilir bank Boiler untuk memanaskan air umpan yang menyerap panas dari gas buang panas.Economizers selalu merupakan tipe tabung air.Economizers memiliki berbagai jenis Tabung tergantung pada aplikasinya.Bare tube di Economizer banyak digunakan di boiler Industri dan untuk aplikasi seperti Heat recovery boiler di pabrik asam Sulfat, gilled tube digunakan.Tabung bersirip populer dalam aplikasi HRSG.Air umpan dapat dipanaskan hingga tingkat sekitar 20 - 30 C di bawah suhu saturasi boiler.
